In 1975 on Strates, a wagon similar to the Clyde Beatty wagon in this picture was painted Carolina Blue and as well as I remember, had no lettering at all. The wagon was divided in the middle. It carried the train used in kiddy land in the rear and the front was known as the kiddy land shop. I always heard that it came from the Clyde Beatty Circus.
My Dad and I visited the Strates WQ in 1982. We were given the run of the train yards as the show was out at the time. I took several pictures then, but had no idea until later that all those wagons sitting there came from the Beatty show. I would have taken a lot more pictures. Bob
