No 235- Victor Tichonov with Circus Saratow 1980

Good thing that Ben took his camera to the show last night since a goodly number of Blog contributors attended.
I intended to show them this morning but when we returned home we were still reeling from the appalling public behavior at the Club concerning a previously mentioned situation and never got around to it.
This is today's regularly scheduled material.

Robarts Arena was the scene of the annual Showfolks Circus on Saturday. A blogspot standing ovation to all the volunteers who contributed their time and talent. Bravo showfolks!

It was about half way through the show when I realized the show had adopted the trend of having a "theme"...it was "At The Circus for Forty Days and Forty Nights".

I saw a performer take a "bit" turn it into an "act" and last night presented it as a "marathon"; the longest act I've ever seen. His family crossed the Atlantic in less time than his routine.

There were many stars in the ring last night; and a couple of NOT SO STARS, and the NOT SO'S you know who you are.

Showfolks Circus, the highlight of the season is always great fun, you get to see old friends and new friends, friendly faces and a couple of TWO FACED folks. Speaking of TWO FACED, the Circus Producers meeting is on Monday at the HYATT where the sign in front says WELCOME CIRCUS PRODUCERS...BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS.

PART TWO...

Sunday, 2PM - I just stopped by Robarts and the very long act that I mentioned last night, you know the one in the air, well the act is still working and they expect him to finish by 2:45 pm.

Last night at the club: remember those for the groom on the right; those for the bride on the left and those for the BOY TOY at the bar. Well, the bar was packed and the decree will be issued Monday morning.

Many of the stool sitters became jury members by proxy and none were shy about voicing their opinions and comical commentary.

Repeating the rules for the Circus Producers Meeting: no knives, no weapons and no guns. This won't eliminate back-stabbing, but it should slow it down.

It's all over but the shouting!
