Our poster from 1958-59 seasons. The guy who played Buffalo Bill was called Edward Grey, was a navy man I heard????? He didn't last long I'm told, about 3 months, but the family kept the production going for a couple of years. Does anyone know of him or where he ended up? Craig Bullen. |

Buckles,
Didn't Jack Joyce try to start a wild west show after he left Ringling andd call it a something that the Fields' own the name to?
Also was DR Miller part of the Miller family that own the 101 Ranch in the 20's
Happy New Year to all.
Robert "Rigmortis" Gibson
Monty Montana did frame a Buffalo Bill's Wild West show in the 1970s and quickly ran afoul of the Felds, who claimed they owned the title. I believe the courts eventually ruled that the name "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show" is in the Public Domain. Unfortunately, the show folded here in San Diego, and the local musicians who were hired to play in the band never did get paid.
D. R.Miller was not part of the 101 Ranch Miller family.
