Hi Ben,
Thank the Mrs. for the photo. That's me on the front bench in the "piccolo section".
It was an ideal day for the parade. The weather couldn't have been better and, consequently, the crowds were enormous.
Reaction to the band wagon, the six Percheron hitch and the Windjammer Circus Band led by Maestro Chuck Schlarbaum was overwhelming. Tunes included "Greatest Show on Earth", "Billboard March" and "Bravura" played in true circus style. The spectators along the street cheered us all the way down Broadway.
There was no doubt that the circus was in town!

Sorry NBC did not carrry a shot like this. They did have a momentary overhead view. It would have had been great had they mentioned CWM etc.
Thanks, Ben. You have given us what NBC did not.
