NINE BLANKETS who? But, would someone ID the three beautiful young ladies...
They probably aren't that young anymore.
Nine Blankets - I checked Connie Clausen's book "I Love You Honey But the Season's Over". On page 48 she said - "Nine Blankets was a tough-talking kid from South Boston. He was perpetually cold at night, and used to steal blankets from other men's bunks while they slept..one morning they found him snuggled under nine of their blankets, and his new name was born."
what an excellent title for a circus book!
