This was my first and primary contact with elephants. She was my friend, playmate and confidante during bad times. A true gentle giant that has only one speed. Thank you for the picture. Boo doesn't have many more wrinkles than other 54(?) yr olds. cc
Is that "Queenie" that was on the Barnes and Bailey?
Yes, this is the elephant that was on L.E. Barnes and Bailey, however she is now under the ownership and management of Wilbur Davenport, along with Tina and Jewel.
To cc. Did you work with or care for Boo a.k.a. Queenie in the post?
Where was she before being owned by Wilbur Davenport?
Boo has been in the Davenport family for many years. Prior to Will owning her, his mother did.
Boo started with Roy Bible, then to Red Lunsford & Cliff Monnett; sold to Gopher in 1978 I think it was. cc
I remember Boo. She was an unforgetable elephant. I had the pleasure of working with her. She still looks in great health.
