Thanks, my screen blows up only so much of the comments. I lose alot on the Rt side of the screen?
The Woodcock Performing Elephants
certainly put the Capital Letters in the words ;
the Big Apple " CIRCUS "
I saw that show once after YOUR ELEPHANTS left - have they still kept up the live Band ? ? ?
Isn’t it wonderful that so many of us animal trainers have had one outstanding animal in our lives that has been so special and loved more than anyone can imagine.
You and Barbara had your wonderful elephant “Anna May” that I am sure was “family” to you.
Rudi & I had our chimpanzee “Sally“ she was with us for nearly forty years and worked every show that we ever played in our career.
Gunther Gebel had his “Congo” the African elephant.
Joe Lemke had his “Susie”
I am sure so many have had that one Special animal,
What wonderful memories we are so lucky to have.
what a great thrill to work with these guys, a matchless trio, top of the heap in circus show biz...and elsewhere; Anny May was one of a kind and oh boy could Barbara sell that act;
Probably never see the likes of this trio again in the circus or any business
