On U.S. Route 68, between Yellow Springs, & Xenia, Ohio, there is a little wide place on the West side of the road called, "Goes Station", it is named after the Goe family, and of course is "Skinny's" hometown.
Across the road nearby was the towns only industry, a Powder Mill, I had a Great Uncle who drove a team pulling the little rail cars of powder who was killed during an explosion, when his team ran & dragged him into a tree trunk. As I remember the story, the entire plant was destroyed.
Bailey Bros. Circus was out 1917-20; 1935-38; 1944-48; 1951; 1953; 1959-60 and 1964-68.
Robert Bonham "Big Bob" Stevens was the proprietor 1944-48 and 1959-60.
