It's nice to see Mark Anthony & his Sculptures here . Not only did his " Circus Clown Charactor " seam to constantly evolve but so did his Sculptures ; Unique , dedicated & productive at that also .

Great 50's picture of Mark from my cousin Robert Perry.I ran into Mark many years later when I took my kids to Circus Vargas in Burbank California. He came out after the show and we talked for an hour or so mainly about my father, Mervyn King. He was always building terrific props and models which probably got me started as a sculptor.

I had never seem him in this makeup before, but you can tell from the twinkle in his eyes that it's Mark. If I'm not mistaken, I believe he wrote the song, "Wish on a Star" that was in the Joan Crawford movie "Berserk" Oh, and Pat... he truly was a wonderful guy! ~frank
