Lo and Behold!

Scan10017, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

From time to time, I am asked whatever became of Rebecca Apponey?
Received this from her yesterday by mail, no message, just this clipping.
One of our concerned Bloggers contacted her local Police Dept. some time ago and was informed that she is fine.
Another Blogger seemed to think that her computer conked out. If this is the case maybe Wade Burck can talk JC into buying her a new one.

So glad she got in touch. It's tough being the only smart ass on this blog. cc

I have no way of knowing but I'm just guessing that these are Gary and Kari Johnson's elephants?

Can you imagine what Rebecca might have said about hyenas during the recent discussion here on Buckles blog? We'd all have laughed like hyenas! She needs to get back on line.

Buckles, I talked to John, and he said, "it appears Buckles has a banker who can be bullsh---ed, and pieced off with a movie. Let him get her a new one. Or give her the old one you used for elephant records. Only she'll have to pick it up. It'll cost way to much to send. Wade Burck

Mr. Cuneo's charity and Mr. Burck's willingness to express it is astounding.

Mr Burcke is still there larger than life, a barrel of laughs always ,sensitive too.

Anonymous, astounding is your need to express anything about Mr. Cuneo's charity or my willingness to express it, under a cloak of secrecy. Man up, and don't take thing's you know nothing of too seriously. Wade Burck
P.S. To those who know him as John, (not Mr. Cuneo, JC, Jr., etc.) his private charity is legendary and inspiring. As we speak, he and his wonderful wife Herta are at the Vatican with 4 others, as guest's of the Chicago archdiocies, having an audience with the Pope. Before they left last Thursday, John mentioned that he was going to see if the Pope could help him with some summer dates for the Hawthorn Tiger Acts. Wade Burck

We have a sense of humour save the the Lord. Nice to here about a man who loves his employer nearly as much as himself.

Anonymous, After many years of " independant contractorship", and 2 generation's of working together towards the same goal's, there enters a great comfort knowing you will be able to do for each other, what other's can not. Associates, is the term he and I use, and prefer. We don't love each other, we respect each other, "save the the Lord". Wade Burck

Dear Mr Burcke, your response was very nice , there should be a lot more of this type of relationship with ones employer, you have my respect, It takes a Real Man to say the things you say and probably do. Respect to You, and Mr C.

I have heard of other employees consider themselves "ASSOCIATES" of their employer. But I don't think I've ever heard the employer use those terms. Anonymous & running for cover

Wow. Don't which is a more interesting pairing. Wade and John, or John and the Pope. I think Cuneo would do better with Father Guido Sarduchi.

met Mr Cuneo on on of his visit s to europe a very nic man even paid me a complement on my work , that i will never forget, Mr Burcke must be a capable balls type of guy to be associated with Mr Cuneo for such a long time. And to have his respect would like to see a few photos of Mr Burcke on the blog i am sure this would provoke a few nice conversations , how long did Mr Burcke work for RBBB, and why did he leave, if its not private information.Mr Woodcock your web blog is the highlight of my day, thank you for the time and effort you put into it.i hope everybody else does too, no wonder your elephant acts were good if they were half as good as your Blog must have been a sight to see i just wished i could have seen some of them the way to learn is to watch listen and respect, i learned all i know by this way, and i just wished i could have gone to the USA to learn more you have a much different system than we do in europe much more clean pricise and diciplined, Thank You for giving us a place to learn and express our views.

Greetings Anonymous EuropeII (I hope you are not the first Anonymous Europe), To think you need to be a "capable balls type of guy" to be associated with John Cuneo, leads me to believe you may have a mistaken impression of him. You seem sincere in your requests, and have found the same three important things I learned, about learning years ago, watch, listen, and respect. I'll make you a deal. If you are a "capable balls type of guy", and have a name, let me know what it is, and I'll tell you the rest of the story. Wade Burck
