"Fifty Years Ago Today!" (From Jim Cole)

Actually most of these photos were taken on Sunday the 9th. They had the day off, and "wind rolled" the big top.

I had seen Ringling 2 years prior on this same lot, but somehow it was this show that may have lit the circus spark in my 10 year old brain.

These Photos sure have " THE LOOK "
of the Time & You certainly have a Good Eye for the Variety of Subjects / Composition , etc.

What kind of Camera was used here ?

I think it was in Riverside, California, that I asked the owner of a small cafe if I could put a bill in the window for Cristiani Bros Circus and the guy said, "If I let you I'd have to let all the other churches."

I recognize these trucks. Joined the show in Clarksburg W Va in 1958.
