Louis Stern added a baby elephant to the herd in 1965 (Stella), our first season with the show so they played it up in the '66 program.

Buckles, you might remember this rather sad story...early 80's, Albany, New York, Bill Kay's date that was a Pollack show regular for many years.

I don't think you were in the dressing room, but Bill might have relayed this story to you. Bill comes into the dressing room and Joe Sherman says, "Bill, I didn't even recognize Louie and I passed by him several times." Louie Stern was in the building just hanging around in the hallway.

Bill says to Joe, "Joe, don't worry about it, he's wandering around thinking he still owns the show."

The conversation was very kind and later that day it was obvious that Louie was unfortunately a little out it.

Joe Sherman's topic of the day was great stories about the Pollack show.
