Dear Mr Woodcock, Congratulations to this wonderful blog. I discovered it yesterday and basically spent the last two days looking at your pictures and reading your stories. I'm originally from Germany but going to school in Delaware for the past 4 years. I'm a circus model builder and working on a model of the German Circus Williams from the years 1967-1968. Unfortunately it is pretty difficult to find pictures and information of this great circus. This is actually the reason I choose this post to reply. I own a Williams program from the year 1967, which features Rudi and Sue Lenz. I was wondering if Mrs Lenz has some photo material from the 67 season she would be willing to share with a young Williams fan. I would truely appreciate any help. Thank you very much and good luck for the future with this project. Keep up the great work. Sincerely Marco F. Kristen |

Sorry to say I do not have any pictures from our season with Circus Williams as at that time I was experimenting with taking 8.mm films.
After transferring them recently to video think I would have been better to stick with taking photos.
Maybe Jeanette Williams would be the person that could help with this matter.
Dear Mrs Lenz,
Thank you very much for your fast reply. The film you took doesn't show anything behind the scenes, such as the menagerie, the waggons by any chance? These are some of the things I am really interested in, how the waggons were lined up, how many animals the show presented etc. I have some pictures of the circus if you are interested. Again thank you very much. Sincerely Marco F. Kristen
