We all read that Glenn Ford was lost on Wednesday (8/30) out here, at age 90. Parley Baer co-starred with him in 1968's DAY OF THE EVIL GUN.
Go to IMDb, look at the cast list on that picture, and you'll see why I recommend it highly.
No surprise that I love this picture. CWM had becomein the minds of many of its friends and supporters, a mess in the late 70s and early 80s and when we (new board of directors, me president) got Barkin to raise money to bring parade back, lots of good friends helped make it a hit. Parley and Ernie and many show folks came to show interest and support and to help hustle the concept.
I find it sadly true that CWM in the last few years got into worse trouble than we fixed. Happily new director of Wisc Historical Society seems to be getting a good start at fixing.
