Re: The Blockbuster... To add the cat act obviously there will have to be other changes in the show to make it dove tail with the story line that supposedly holds the show together; so in fact they'll be reinventing the Red and Blue at the same time, albeit modestly in the case of the Blue. As amazing as it is that Feld Entertainment is tacitly admitting to an error, I've got to think there some market research at work here too -- since Mr. Feld lives by numbers. I'm guessing that what the surveys showed is that the Ringling audience wants what they see as traditional circus, and a big part of that circus are the animal acts. It may be that we have been bleeding ourselves cutting animal acts to shave costs and thinking that the audience won't care so long as we put on a pretty good show. If adding cats brings better crowds to the Blue next year, there might b3e a lesson in that for every so called traditional show.
that is freida pages in the picture not vicenta
I'll bet I got the elephant right.
Buckles,
I remember recently seeing some pictures of Circus Pages, including a few of Vicenta and the tigers, posted on the CFA site. Maybe they will be kind enough to let you repost them here?
Chris
Anyone so disposed to send me some pictures of Vicenta, I will gladly send out.
