Zellmar Bros. Circus 1926 #10


This looks to be a former Rep Show tent (Repetory Company) with a partition across the square end. You can see the rigging for two sets of Roman Rings and one Trapeze.
Back door and band on the left, long side grandstand on the right.

The beautiful, romantic, peaceful, allure of the big top . Boy this sure brings back memories of the Sells Bros circus of the early 60's Little Bob Stevens, owner. Enoch Bradford, canvas boss for a while,Yaya on electric, Dick Johnson, Ringmaster and grind shows,JR Brown, elephants / Freida,Terry Punk, Cecil Edington and Wife, Browny Silverlake, Clowns , Mechanic, Franklin / Jimmy Silverlake,Candy Butchers, Earl Tillman, Doc Barbry, Jack Bennet,AKA Crazy Jack, Hall Family, juggling, unicycles, Bob Grubb, liberty horses . Outside of the tent being a round end, 90, by 3 40's , it's condition brings back memories. Not quite under canvas.
