Al G. Barnes 1925 blow down aftermath #4


No doubt the after show or Wild West Concert with Indian War Dances in full progress.
Interesting to note how much of the audience remained, the front grandstand looks to be over half full.
No idea what that contraption would be hanging over the front track.

A photo of this appears in the July-August Bandwagon of 1986,
Page 17. Article by Chang Reynolds of the 26' season and the blowdowns they had that year in Powell Wyoming. Photo shows Bert Dennis working horses,and does look like a staring gate of some kind.

You can see from the photo in the Bandwagon, that each horse had its head placed in each "window". Would be glad to try to scan you the page if you don't have this issue.
