Circus Weddings #5

This my favorite wedding picture, Mrs. Scott appears to have second thoughts already.

Somewhere out there is a picture of Gene Garner and Me that was in the Omaha NEB paper after our " CIRCUS WEDDING" Gene's Llama is trying to plant a kiss on Gene. It was really cute. A jealous boy friend tore my copy up. Buckles showed a picture earlier of Gene dancing with our lion Sarah. Seems Gene was always with a loving animal. Never with me. Does this tell me something? Not that I was the most loving of humans I can see where I missed out. This is the person I am trying to find to say I am sorry.

Yes it is. I think this is a 1930's picture.

It looks like this is the part where they say "If anyone knows why this couple..."cc

I knew Arky's two sons, in Thousand Oaks. They were there at the time he passed on. Does anyone know where they are, and how they're doing? I'd certainly like to say hello to them again.

As you may know, after Arky,s death his wife Tony moved to Florida, I saw her many times at the club.
Seems like I remember someone saying that one of Arky's sons lives in Sarasota. I can check that out.

Thanks, Buckles. I know that Gene lived with Tex and Ina Scarbrough for a time after Arky was gone. Ina told me they were going to adopt him. I thought at the time, when this adoption wasn't quite on paper, he was smart to decide to return to Sarasota. He stayed longer in Thousand Oaks than his brother, whose name, for life of me I cannot recall. Gene, I believe, was formally Eugene Scott, Jr.
