Like being in place & prepared to watch the sunrise come up out of the Ocean, in mid summer, in New Jersey, beginning the perfect day.

This depicts the very heavy grandstand that Bailey tried out. It was the first effort to provide comfortable seating for circus patrons and was ahead of its time. The seating proved too heavy to move with attendant delays in getting the show up and down. Bailey was an innovator.; 08 April, 2006 19:35
