More pictures from Karen G. #4

On the road at last, this is an interesting picture showing part of the herd at night, we had 22. Look at the mountain of hay stacked up behind them.

I just love to see a lineup of these great beast. Beauty beyond compare. Once an elephant person, always an elephant. you can not get away from them and why would you want to. We must enjoy while we can. Circus elephants can not be replaced for their beauty and the gift of entertainment to the humans of the world. The world needs this right now.

In buildings whey were usually in one line but in the tent most were on one side and on the other would be the hay pile, the leopard cages and as I recall the two Africans and "Charlie".
If you have three rings of elephants it is so much easier if they are picketed in working order so you can move the herd to the arena and back with a minimum of shuffling around.
We used all 20 Asians in "menage" as they called it.

I have been tracking my elephant friends in Tenn. It amazes me that this group of elephants just learned to lay down. sleep. bath.etc. And they learned to do this in a few short days? It really was stupid of us not to take pictures of these elephants doing the same thing in another part of the country. But then again who would have thought this would be that important as they were being natural and knew how to do these things. I see they are keeping this herd apart. What happened to keeping this BONDED group together? The noncircus group of persons are eating this up as if Tenn invented elephant behavior. All the other elephants have been put aside and ignored so this herd can be used for profit. I also get a kick as their showing the group changed for year after year in the barn, then turn around and say they were worked to death on the circus road. Now how can they travel and be chained in a barn at the same time? Bet it pi^%$ them off that JC got the best of them. Remember SUE.
