Carl Hagenbeck Circus

This picture from my collection, is thought to be Ruben Castang with some of the same elephants while still with the Carl Hagenbeck Circus. From what I would have thought, this pyramid looks pretty sloppy. On an unrelated matter, I received a phone call last night explaining that the Chinese Troupe contracted to appear with Cole Bros. Circus, was refused entry into the country and the show is in a mad scranble trying to hire acts. Ditto for the contortion act previously with Hometown. I understand they open Saturday. I wonder if this would apply to the Baraboo Chinese? Maybe the Chinese Govenment saw my "Incredible Show" picture.
