Could you name this act? Albert Powell on the trapeze, right?

This is the Walkmir Trio and as you can see the ladies are revolving in opposite directions (called muscle grinds).
Mr. Powell could do these amazing tricks because he was a contortionist.
His father was a great teacher of kids many of whom took his name, one being Billy Powell the wire walker whose son Bill Powell is one of the Ken & Nicole Vice Presidents today.

Walkmir later built the Airplane Act for his wife who went by the name "AIDA", the rigging then went to Hennie Luxum, she also worked as "AIDA", then changed the name to "CELESTE". The rigging then went from there to Jacqueline Zerbini, Serge Corona, back to Jacqueline, then to Anastasinis, where it is now.

Emmett Kelly wrote that most aerial stars need the short, heavy muscles to do this work. And that Albert Powell was likely the only long, tall man to make it in the air--where he was a sensation.
