To Bud

Bud, I'm sure this is the picture you were referring to with Janice and Mike Aria at the Ringling Circus Park with elephant "Bonnie" and bear "Chloe" back in the 1970's.
You may already know that Janice is now with the Ken & Nicole Show serving as Animal Consultant to the Press.

Buckles, are you kidding about Janice, or is this truth? I would like to see her again.

No, I'm not kidding about Janice but I have no idea how you would go about seeing her.
They are quite secretive you know.

RBBB has more consultants than performers. Some one said if you had to have a commity or consultants to run your business, you have no business owning one and you are in deep S&#( to start with.

Yes Buckles ! I also have some photographic documentation of The Rehearsals ( not so glamorious in the Fla. heat )- Re: b.strong, I agree ! Janice & Mike surely found & made a lifestyle within the Circus Relm with there Bear & Golden Retriever Acts. Let us also acknowledge here, Janices brother Gill later on as the acts grew. Janice a dear friend of Don Foote & also brilliant & tallented at costuming. Mike originaly working with Mr. Jack Altoff, also assisted Buckles & Jewell New with there acts at Circus World. To know them is to LOVE them !
I miss realy there annual visits ! ! !

Bud, I don't remember Mike working with us on the Lion Act? They were Great Friends as almost everyone at Circus World was. I did see Janice on the Peta site defending the Circus. She still looks good! The ONLY animal scar I have is on my hand that came from Chloe the bear ,when she ran from Mike once and I jumped on her to catch her and she clawed the back of my hand. Gary

Hi Gary; you are correct in stating Mike did not " work " with you & Jewell as he did work with / for Buckles. Pardon my attempt to be brief, misleading comment. I just recall mike conveighing he assisted Jewell ( in some vague capassity ) with the Lion act at the early stages of the act & the Park, outside, before the Theatre/Arena was built, prior to my arival.

Bud you have to forgive me because those years I was back and forth, from Winter Quarters to CW, and once we helped with the elephant walk ,Donald Bale and I set off to Great Adventure in NJ. Two years there, then back to CW with Jewell and Buckles. This site has jarred my memory! I'm remembering more and more people thanks to Buckles! Best, Gary
