News not so surprising

I am now led to believe that Dickie Garden has filed a claim on the "Greatest Show on Earth" logo to be added to his recently acquired Clyde Beatty Circus. This gloried old title is expected to be made available shortly.
Otherwise it may be placed in escrow and applied only to circuses equal in quality of the Evansville Shrine Circus.
I personally own the rights to "Ken & Nicole's Incredible Shrinking Show" but it might be had if the price is right.

At last, caroborkin is giving credit to the writer for the words :pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living: Thats a step up. She must be planning a prayer meeting under the circus tent for the elephants in her loving care. SUE died surounded by her loving care givers? I would want my enemys around me so I could live. PUKE time again. We will not foget SUE and the way she died. Take a good look at who and what your loving, careing friends are up to.

Buckles, do you have SUEs history? She was pretty young to have been around many circus troops. To me 40s are young.

Sue's background is rather murky.
She first appeared with Circus Vargas in 1981 when Rex Williams was in charge of the elephants, no doubt from a Zoo or Park.
When Rex left the show from 1984 to '86 she went with him so I suppose he owned her from the start.
Rex returned to the Show in 1987 and eventually sold all his elephants (including Sue) to Vargas.
As far as the Vargas herd being sold to Hawthorne and subsequent events, you would probably know more than I.

That last comment knocked me off my chair. Has caroborkin started a memorial fund drive where we can donate to SUEs memory yet. She must be slowing down. Usually the elephant isn't cold and buryed yet. Do I sound mad.? You had better believe I have never been so pissed in my life.

What did I tell you!!!! Jolly Balls donated to TES in SUEs memory. They never owned this elephant! How can they use her this way. After LOTA I did not think they could sink any lower. Boy was I wrong!

How can the Felds give up this slogan after all these years. When I was with Ringlings we used to go after anyone who used it. Once they went after a little appliance dealer in Jamestown, NY who ran ads proclaiming, "The Greatest Show on Worth."
