Harriett and Clyde Beatty early 1930's


Dear Evelyn,
As I mentioned I don't have any pictures of your mother's act but she may enjoy these pictures of your grandmother. I suspect this was taken with the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus.
Dave Price or Roger Smith might have some pictures of the Albina Beatty cat act.

Off the subject: With all the devastation going on in the the world, War, Weather, etc. Be sure to hug the ones you love and tell them you love them today. You never know what is coming next. Make the most of life and enjoy every day. The latest storm just missed us here in Illinois.

In response to Evelyn's requests, I met Eddie Say only once, through Hubert Castle, on the Grand Rapids date, in 1972, but have never met Albina, and have relatively little on her career. One source may be the circus publications, to ask what they might reproduce from their holdings.
