Col. Tim McCoy's Real Wild West #4

Here's a shot of the plaster after it was slapped and falls into the category I refer to as "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Mr. Edwin M. Toland warns that "All employees, unless otherwise notified, will please vacate the premises!".

Do you think that because this show was geared to men and boys it did not stand a chance. As a female I would not like to watch a show with a bunch of men riding hard and shooting up the place. It would have been the women taking children to see a show and maybe they did not approve.Maybe they thought that was what it was all about.

Another guess on why the Col.'s show didn't make it: Could it have something to do with the technical improvements in movies. In the late 30s people could see fast riding, buffalo herds, and real scenery at a modest price on the big screen -- not exactly IMAX but good enough.

Could someone give me a rundown as to who purchsed the train, wagons, etc. at the auction?
Thanks,
Jim
