Portales, N.M. 1905


On the back of this picture my dad had written "Woodcock Home at Portales, N. Mex. about 1905. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Woodcock and infant Col. Wm. Howard Woodcock."
This must have been the place where he started picking up gentlemanly airs.

This is what most young girls dreamed about having when growing up. Your dad ran away from it. When I grew up I realized this idea was not all it was cracked up to be. Give me a home over a fifth wheel again, Please
