Orton Bros. Circus 1916/ Wrecked bandwagon

Here we see the aftermath of Hero's destruction when unable to satisfy his frustration he continued along side the train and tipped the Bandwagon completely off the flat car. He then headed out into the countryside, chasing and being chased by the local militia who eventually gunned him down. This picture tells all, the body language of the circus people viewing the ruins and the fact that the weather had been horrible ever since the show had opened.
