Yesterday, Veterans Day, I was under anesthesia for 4 hours. I felt safe going under and that I would be safe coming out of it, because our men and women in uniform made our country secure.

We all know of victims of PTSD. My uncle was a highly decorated veteran of Viet Nam. 37 years after his service there, he took his own life at age 72. For many veterans, their wars never end. We owe them every manner of caring support to save and restore all of them that we can. For those beyond recovery, we owe them peace and security by any means at hand. God bless our veterans.
