She mentioned that Fran had died
last Saturday the 19th of September
Oddly enough Phil had died exactly
3 years ago today September 24th
They had been very good friends
of mine for many years

Thank you so much for posting this. Francine was like my second mom, so of course I've been scavenging the internet looking for pictures and videos of her and everyone. They truly were and continue to be wonderful, enchanting, charismatic, graceful, incredible people. Dondi was a very talented and stupendous. About 3 weeks ago, I hung up a couple of paintings Dondi made for Fran where she wanted them and could see them. We are kind of at a loss still. Any pictures or videos anyone could post of the Schacht family would be so appreciated, beyond belief.
How when & where did you
get to know them Samantha
Fran Phil & I went on a
fabulous Caribbean cruise
together to the Bahamas
back in the early 70s
We had met in the late
60s on the Beatty Show
They used a version of
my Chic Studios logo on
their "Apollos" heading

What sadness it is to know Francine has passed. I recall their deep sense of religion, and how they witnessed to many. God bless them with eternal rest and peace, together again.
My mom and and dad met Phil and Fran one day when they were at at some fairground years ago, I can tell you exactly when and where later. Some alligators had gotten loose, one was even under a kid's ride, there was one in a canal while Phil was there with my dad, problem-solving and talking, meanwhile my mom and Fran started talking. Fran was my mom's best friend my entire life. She has called her "the sister she never had". I have so many unanswered questions. I'm very happy to have stumbled upon your blog.
