In the b.g. is Dave Hoover's #78 Cat Wagon--which had been Clyde Beatty's under very different design. This former auto carrier was drastically cut down and re-configured to load Hoover's 10 cages up a ramp and in 2 rows along the trailer. For years, Ned Potter hand-cranked the cages up one at a time. Later, Hoover demanded an elephant for the job, and the task fell of Pete. That is one of Hoover's carry-alls sitting this side of the wagon.
