He's hard to find here, but Deacon David Blanchfield is aboard the Cat, looking down and to his left as he pulls wagon to the runs. He was over there for many seasons. He was among those listed as executives who were arrested after the Hartford fire. In court, the other pled for release, saying the circus could not function without them. Deacon quietly acknowledged the show could move if he were not there, and the judge let him go.
