Might be just me as her fan, but her horse looks more vertical even than the one in #4. Look up Ms. Herbert's 6-part autobio series in BANDWAGON. It may surprise some readers that she was a featured movie star, too, and in a role not connected with circus.

Dorothy Herbert, poster fans tell us, had more paper out on her than Leitzel and Beatty combined.
When I met her at Jungleland, in '65, she introduced herself as Mrs. A.W. Kinnard, and I didn't know any better.
She's sidesaddle here- wow. I can't see how she is attached, but just the side-saddle is something special.
