Cheyenne Wyoming Frontier Days Celebration: I don't know how far back it goes, but I had a great time there 60 years ago . . . the whole shootin' match, including chuck wagon races and lots and lots of Native Americans resplendent in their garb and traditions.

As a boy, I first fell in love with Wyoming's grandeur, as seen in the George Stevens film, SHANE, shot primarily in Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. All films directed by Stevens are so respected they are taught in schools of cinema. His 1953 Western out of Paramount is considered a lasting classic of the genre.
