great farm in Middletown NY

Jeannette still maintains

it with bears & trains dogs

for specialty assignments

Mr Rix and Jeannette visited us on Castle, in Utica NY, in '73. I was in awe of meeting him, and Jeannette was a knock-out. Over time, animal training hopefuls who got around Mr. Rix all told me how immediately supportive he was, never holding back professional pointers, answering their questions with advancing information. How many veteran trainers do that?

I got to know the entire family

after working with Jeannette &

Albert on several engagements

I stay in touch with Jeannette

every so often & she is a dear

Aside from caring for about 11

remaining bears she has focused

her energies on training dogs

primarily German Shepherds for

police & millitary service
