Yes, Barrie, the son, @ L. Many of us recall when Barrie took a bad buster, I think on RB, many years ago. He was critically hurt, and was long months recovering. Like a trouper, he did return to the stilts of his family heritage. Some of us would ask him what for us to do if we were following him and he began to fall. He said, "Never try to catch me. Let me fall."

Barrie, Sheilagh, and King were friends on the Beatty show. In a period of down-time, I was back over there as a cagehand, but the Sloans treated me like a performer, and as a result, so did the rest of the backyard. They were the best kind of showfolks I have known.

The 3rd shoe from L shows us more clearly the extension of the stilt beyond the shoe. Barrie told us the stilt bottoms are fitted with replaceable shoe heels, and the shoes themselves never touch the ground.
