Patricia White left Circus Kinoshita, in Japan, after breaking in Andrea Carr Jewell to take her place. She had an offer from Boswell to break the first all-white lion act in South Africa. Upon arrival, in Kwa-Zulu Natal, she found the purported white lions had mixed heritage, making theM half-and-half at best. All the 6 lions were in scruffy condition, and all her cagehands were natives dying of AIDS. A string of bitter e-mails to me revealed it took some doing, but she got a release from Boswell's contract and went home to Wyoming.
