Jutta poses with Jimmy James. Brigitte married Johnny Pugh, who knew what he was doing and proved it for decades of Beatty show ownership. After Johnny dropped Beatty from the title, his show continued as Cole. Neddie got permission to use the Clyde Beatty name to field another of his attempts at a circus. It folded almost overnight.
Neither can I help myself, and in some cases, have said so right here.
Around that Beatty show, Neddie blew it big time, and no less an example is Red Hartman. Out here, at Jungleland, we had Klaus and Ada Blaszak, who faced us with ultimate contempt after we took them in, saving his lion from the threats of the Ringling show. Our managers there, Roy Kabat and Ina Scarbrough, created false pretenses that led to the ouster and eventual suicide of Mabel Stark. Of these people, what are we to say of them now? In life, they all had chances to stand up and redeem something of their names, but they never did. They left bitter memories and these are the memories that live on.

If Edward (Neddie) Toth as Frank
McClosky's nephew wasn't as dumb
as a rock & tried in vain to rake
off great sums from concessions
he might have ended up as owner
or at least coowner of the show
I know it isn't nice to speak
badly of the dead but I can't
help myself in some cases
