My least favorite of the Feld-era clowns. Kenneth tried to star him, but his endless solos throughout the program were never funny, and came across as unentertaining filler.
Kenneth tried to build a big-top show around David--Barnum's Kaleidoscope--that I caught in San Antonio. It folded rather quickly. Larible was not a drawing star, Kenny couldn't run a tent show, and that was that.

Amen to the above comment...Extremely boring to me...Others may not agree.

There were some nice elements in
"Kaleid O Scape" but far too many
problems to overcome including
the lengthy & costly moves done
by non circus folks the rental
fencing with strange insider's
contract scheme & similar to the
decision to use the name "Barnum"
without Bailey or Ringling made
for confusion which was like our
Monte Carlo Show that didn't
get proper recognition because
Feld tried in both those cases
to prove they could succeed in
the business without the prime
title that has meant so much
(& now it's gone)
Worst af all was how Kenneth
told of the closure ahead of
the very last performance in
Bryant Park in NYC without
any warning of the slough
Everyone thought they had
a contract for another year
A good friend who shall remain nameless
had the best parting line as he placed
his ID & Keys on Kenneth's desk & said
"You wouldn't be here if Daddy didn't
buy you a circus" & he left the office
