Gina will be 92 on July 4th. Owing to the recent tragedy at Notre Dame, we remember her as a stunning Esmerelda to Anthony Quinn's Quasimodo, in the 1956 re-make of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. She continues as a vibrant and beautiful woman of immense charity, who is loved and honored internationally.

Tony died at age 85, in 2010, of cardiac arrest, after years of suffering COPD. He rests in a cemetery in Henderson, Nevada, where he was living with his 6th wife, Jill. He had many personal troubles, but was known to the industry as among the most cooperative and competent actors in film, and to his fans as welcoming and friendly.

I highly recommend the Cirque d'Hiver website, beautifully mounted by the Bouglione family.

I was first informed of this venue by historian and archivist Leonard Farley, who grew up speaking French. He advised me to call it the DEE-vay, which I still do.
