Antoinette Concello. I'd think that trunk was placed for atmosphere, since the boys would not have gotten a tip for putting her trunk outside on one end of a wagon.
Mickey Comeau, Antoinette's sister, left the convent first, and invited Tony for a visit on a show where she was performing. Tony got the bug, and the convent was left in the past. Tony began to find her talent, as Mickey went on to marry wild animal trainer Allen King. She later wrote of her regrets when King's gambling and drinking took grave tolls on his career. But she continued as Mickey King, and became so great a trapeze star that she is named for single trap on the memorial plaque for the Detroit Shrine Circus. In their glamour shots, both sisters were exceptional beauties.
This photo has been cropped at one time or another. The "Photo by Century 110w 46 NYC" from the right corner is gone. Kelty did a large set of smaller photos ( 71 photos ) in 1935 for Sam Gumpertz and his personal book of these photos sold in Dec 2017 at Freedom Auction in Sarasota. Single photos from this series (as this one of Antoinette) have found their way to market over the years as Kelty sold singles. p.j.holmes
