The scribble on the back reads 1956

There were quonset huts scattered

around Sarasota after the war (WW2)

Many at what was the army airfield

that is now our SRQ airport & a few

at circus folks properties

Quonset huts were very sturdy

& self supporting they were

named for a similar looking

Native American structure of

all natural materials & were

built at Quonset Point RI
