This Bill Cody was born as William Joseph Cody Jr on Jan 5th 1891. Attended St Johns University before getting into movies in the 1920's under the stage name "Paul Walters". Later went with his real name of Bill Cody after a few movies and did "B" cowboy movies in the late 20's until the late 1930's. Would go out with wild west after shows between movies. I think I have a Kelty of him with Bostocks in the early 30's. I think the last picture that I saw him in was a small part in John Ford's Stagecoach. p.j holmes
Great stuff, PJ. Another who didn't make it so hot was Doug Autry, when that last name didn't do it for him. Gene sued to "cease and desist", but those around him noted his drinking is what did him in.

Never saw his name without
his title "Buffalo Bill"
Was this very early
I believe this was his son (nephew?) who achieved little fame or success for himself.
