Yup it's Joe Guzman & his 1st wife Monique

This was from Jimmy Harrington's San Juan

opening in the new Coliseo Roberto Clemente

with Gran Circo Panamericano some years ago

Joe is doing very well in retirement here

in Sarasota

This was a very high building interior

Jacqueline Zerbini worked at 78 feet

Jimmy had an incredible line up

This was 1 of my very favorite shows

Hans & Rosie Rodo as "The Palace Duo"

also worked extremely high & scary

This photo was taken in the San Diego Sports Arena in 1970 when the 100th Anniversary Blue Unit was appearing there.

I've had this photo with my

Harrington dates folder for

many years Eric but I'm not

certain about it at this point

It could have easily been in

any of a number of buildings

Thanks for the correction

I still have the original slide in my collection. Buckles originally posted it years ago along with my other photos from the 1970 edition. (It is always nice whenever one of them gets posted again.)

In re Jackie working so high, grumbling in the backyard was that it was at Tarzan's insistence, and that he wanted her to show up any other single trap. More than once, I heard fearful mutterings claiming, "Tarzan's going to get her killed."

Readers more seasoned may recall Frank Shepherd working his single trap so high that producers asked him to lower his crane bar enough so that his act would be sufficiently down from the domes of the buildings so audiences could see him work.

I have heard so much about Frank Shepherds' single trap act...Does anyone know if any footage is available anywhere? He worked for awhile with the Fearless Falcons (High Act) with Orville and Myrtle La Rose. They were constantly singing praises about how great he was....
