The front wheel drive Cord was one of only three

The other two went to Al Jolson & Barbara Stanwyck

Mix died behind the wheel of this 1937 Cord on October 12th 1940

He was killed by excessive speed and an unsecured metal suitcase

which struck the cowboy star in the head
