For 1927, the Amer. Circus Corp acquired 6 giraffes. Two each for Sells Floto, Hagenbeck-Wallace, and John Robinson. The SF duo failed to last the season. H-W lost one of its during the tour, and the 2 on JR made the '27 season but both died during '28. The survivor on H-W eventually went over to RBBB.
