Wish I could see better what Smokey is working on--looks like a lash. He had highly respected skills in creating works of art with bullhooks and whipstocks. He visited us on James Bros., in Eugene, Oregon, in '69, and had two cafeteria tables laid out with his wares. I was lucky to get $50 a week for working a lion act then, and had to pass on buying from Smokey. Decades later, Kim Baer gave me 4 hooks Smokey had given to Parley Baer. They show age and use, but they also show history.
