It's interesting these dogs are billed as "bull terriers". Today, bull terriers are a related but different dog. Bull terriers are like the Target dog with the bullet shaped heads; they can be either standard or miniature. I used to have a miniature bull terrier, smart as a whip, loving, but she could be a real stinker too.

Maybe these dogs in the pic are Staffordshire terriers?
