On this title, that old ragbag fielded by Howard Suesz, I earned my first circus payday. I worked Big Top for Enoch Brafford, got a lukewarm lunch of pork and beans, and when I carried that last roll of sidewall on my back that night, Mr. Brafford counted 4 quarters into my hand.
