#18 More Ring Stock

My mother  was an excellent rider, she and her two sisters Grace and Nellie were taught by a German trainer her father brought into the Ortonville quarters one Winter in the 20's. This is she with Russell Bros. Circus some time later. Unfortunately this turned into a handicap, I remember her commenting on the Cole Show in the 1940's that she always got the worst Menage Horse with the statement, "Give this "Knot Head" to Babe she can straighten him out!"
